Just be mindful of your 90 days return policy and return it by then if you don’t have intentions of keeping the tv with dead pixels.Costco Auto Program’s Commitment to PrivacyĬostco Auto Program is operated by Affinity Auto Programs, Inc. Worst case I guess you can just wait it out and see what happens. Without specifics, I can’t speculate how true this statement is for you given I don’t know what you bought. Of course in a lot of cases, Black Friday just matches the previous low sale price but given you aren’t actually looking for a lower price but rather the same price, it’s very likely to occur on Black Friday. There are some exceptions of course but in most cases, that’s what happens. Generally the lowest price of the year happens on Black Friday (and gets repeated on Boxing Day). While it’s possible for a lower price to happen prior to Black Friday, it’s pretty rare. They bring the new one and take the old one away.Īgain technology tends to go down in price over time. It was like $1500 off regular price for this year's model. And I don't think the price will go any lower, but hopefully it will. Given there are dead pixels, i would just return it and wait for black friday sales to get something else without dead pixels.Īll right, so it is 30 days for exchanges. ![]() If its something current, then there is a chance they restock but with covid shortages, its really hard to know when they will restock. At $2500 price point, im guessing you either got an OLED or something 75"+? If you bought last year OLED, then good chance they won't restock the item. With black friday coming soon, there is a good chance you will actually find a better deal on black friday anyways so you might as well return it and buy something during black friday. Of course given the item you are talking about is a TV, TV generally go down in price not up over time. Of course again that doesn't mean they will do it for you. Given you could still return it under their policy, a manager is more likely to give you an exception than someone without any leverage. What you do have is some leverage during the 90 day window. ![]() YMMV with this and it really depends on the mood of the manager at the time you ask. Anything on top of that, you will need the manager to make an exception. The official policy is 30 day exchange/price protection. Basically if manager decides to make an exception, they can do pretty much anything (reasonable), they want. Manager can overwrite any rule they want including 90 day return policy, 30 day exchange policy, etc. Did you exchange it after 30 days? And what is it a TV? Yes exactly, there is no information about exchanges.
